LASCU offers a very competitive rate by associating the rate to the government prime rate, which is historically below market. This pricing aligns with our desire to encourage members to advance their education with the least amount of cost possible.
The maximum a member can borrow is $20,000 in the form of an education line-of-credit. The member is given a credit limit, similar to a credit card, which they can advance on when the need arises. Payments are made each month over a five year repayment. Proof of enrollment or receipt of school related expense is required.
